Keisha Land!

Those things are crunchy. When I had the first one today, it made such a loud noise I dropped part of it. I ate that one too. D.R. gave me some chips. They were tasty.

I barked yesterday when D.R. was walking out to the car to go to work. I didn't see it was her because the hallway was so dark. Sorry!

D.R. was eating some turkey for din-din. I was sitting on the couch with Dad, because I was trying to steal little bits of his dinner like always, and I didn't get a chance to go ask for any turkey. I will try next time.

I like to rest under the tables in the living room and the front room. Those are good when you want to feel something over your head, which is protective for us dogs. I do that sometimes when my Dad is watching teevee. It makes us dogs feel like we are watching from a cave, did you know that? Our ancestors lived a long, long, long (whew), really long time ago, and they used to help people hunt and stuff. They would bark if anybody came near them. When we hide under a table today, it's like being snug in a nice warm cave. I'd be really scared if I met a lion, though.

I barked a lot this weekend. Some people got their lawn fixed, and the lawnmowers made a lot of noise. There were also garbage trucks, people riding motorbikes, and people taking walks. It's a lot of work remembering who to bark at. I don't want to bite them, I just want them to know whose house it is.

I was scared when Dad took the car out before and I was home with just myself and D.R. She was inside playing video games. I jumped up on the bed and sniffed the game controller. Then I just stretched out for a while. I felt better.

What a weird day. I came back from a walk and I ran inside and I nearly ran over D.R. She was so scared! Then she went in her room and closed the door, and I ran into the door. Ouch! And then, it still wasn't over. There were a jillion birds on the lawn, and they chirped and quacked and everything. They sounded like a crowd of people!

I sleeped a lot today. Usually I run around sniffing things and exploring and whatnot, but I didn't have a lot of energy after my haircut the other day, so I just sat on the floor.

I watched teevee with Mom. I also watched while she did her crossword puzzles. I would help, but I don't want to get paw prints on the book.

Why do they do this? It always feels so funny on the first day. After that, I don't notice so much. But going to the groomer's is definitely not fun. I got shaved today. Humans call this "a haircut." When I came back, I looked like a puppy.

I had to bark a lot today. There were the lawnmower guys, even though they worked on a house across the street. I just wish they would give me earplugs before they start. It's so confusing.

I am going to drink a lot of water and then get some sleep. It's enough weird stuff for one day.

I went to D.R.'s room today. There was lots of thunder, and even though it went away after a while, I still stayed. I jumped up on the bed and sniffed D.R. just when she was going to play video games. I even kissed the controller. Then I sat next to D.R.'s leg, and she pet me. I stayed there for 20 minutes. I was so happy!

I had to do some barking today. There were birds, there was the mail truck, there were some people on bicycles-- you never know.

After dinner and my night-time walk, I sat on the couch with Dad and watched teevee. Humans are funny. They don't put dogs in all their shows, did you know that?

We had a lot of storms here this weekend. I don't like the noise. I get scared and walk from room to room, and look for people to help me. In the afternoon, I got to snuggle up with my Mom and Dad on the couch, and that was good, but later on, it started to rain even more. I went into Dad's room, then I walked back and forth to other places. I stayed with D.R. for a while. It's hard to get to sleep with all the rainstorms going on.

I barked a little today, when I wanted to go outside. There were plenty of seagulls and ducks around. I wanted to go to the park, but it the rain kept starting and stopping, so there was not a lot of free time. It turned out to be a day to lie on the floor and just think about stuff.

I had fun spending time with D.R. She played a lot of video games because it was raining so much. I hope they make a game dogs and humans can play together. I mean a video game, because I already know how to fetch.

I was lucky the other day. D.R. found a box of tennis balls and gave me one. It's orange! It's bright and you can find it when it gets stuck under a table. I like to play fetch. It's good exercise.

Today it was 97 degrees outside. That's really hot! When I went for a walk, I had to come back pretty quickly, and I drank a lot of water.

I got to play Bark at the Truck this afternoon, because a UPS truck came to the house. I have to check out all the trucks to make sure they are okay. Everything was all right, it was just a box.

Hello. Today I had an upset tummy. I didn't want to go anywhere this morning; I just lay flat on the floor. Dad gave me some roast beef, and I went for a walk; then I felt a little better.

Today is lawnmower day at my house. The lawnmower people stopped by and drove around with their vroomy thing. It made a lot of noise. I barked at them. Dad said they were okay.

There's a huge bird that likes to land behind our house. It stretches out its wings really far. I'm not sure if I should bark at it. Maybe it will eat some fish from the lake and go home.

Today the sky made lots of noise. Mom and Dad said it was raining. They do not seem to be able to do anything to make it stop.

The clouds won't go away. Maybe someone needs to go outside and tell them.

I saw lots of interesting things on the lawn the other day. There were ducks, and squirrels, and red flowers. It's fun to sniff around on the lawn and pretend you are a big, scary jungle dog.

Some days it's better just to sit on the floor and think about things. I am going to do that in the living room. See you soon!   :)

It's July Fourth, which is a special day for humans from the U.S. of A. The neighbors had these things called fireworks, which explode and make a big colorful crazy thing in the sky. It looks pretty, but the noise is scary for us dogs. I am happy for the Fourth, but I had to spend the day sitting on the couch or the bed so my ears were safe.

I had some yummy popcorns today. I also got to eat some of a burger, a hot dog and some fries, because my people friends had a special lunch for the Fourth of July.

I hope you had a good Fourth too, and I hope your ears don't hurt!
